Fulvic Acid - The Organic Origin

Naturally Green will focus the next two blogs specifically on Fulvic Acid.  All Fulvic Acid material generously contributed by Dr. Norbert Chirase, PhD, a leading Nutritional Consultant and an expert in Fulvic and Humic acids in health and wellness. Dr. Chirase is founder and owner of GTX Technologies which specializes in manufacturing strictly organic Fulvic Acids. I began collaborating with Dr. Norbert Chirase last summer when he asked me to become a select distributor of Fulvic Acid in the U.S.A.

Fulvic Acids are natural products that occur within the natural environment. They are found in fresh water systems, oceans and in between rocks where organic matter once thrived. Fulvic Acids are naturally created from leaves and grasses and deposited in the sediments of North American lakes and elsewhere in the world.

The bottom of lakes and riverbeds are not the only sources of Fulvic Acids. Fulvic acids exist in any environment where there is natural organic matter because they are the end products of organic matter transformation through natural means. The Fulvic Acids of interest to scientists are those that have been formed through biotic (life) and abiotic (absence of life) forces 70 million years ago. These Fulvic Acids were created as a result of changes on the surface of the earth such as volcanic activity, resulting in the burying of certain lakes and seas with all the organic matter in them.

Anyone who has lived in the Northwestern part of the U.S. (Oregon and  Washington states) probably remembers or read about the nice lakes that laid at the bottom of Mt. St. Helen before the eruption of the early 1980’s. One of those was called Spirit Lake. When Mt St. Helen erupted in the 1980’s it buried all the lakes and their organic matter such as trees and fish underneath it.

The Fulvic Acids of health and medicinal interest were formed in the same manner as the volcanic action of Mt. St. Helens. Some of the ancient lakes from which Fulvic Acids were formed are located here in the U.S.A. The challenge for scientists was how to extract these curious molecules naturally without using chemicals which can alter their structure and activity. Dr. Norbert Chirase, PhD of GTX Technologies has invented proprietary formulas for extracting Fulvic Acids in their natural state and found a way to increase their concentration and potency.

Our next blog will focus on how Fulvic Acids are compatible with animal and human systems and how you can use Fulvic Acids in it's purest organic form. The photo above is the natural pulverized humate extracted and prior to processing into Fulvic Acid.

Have a great weekend and chat with you again next week!
